Fast Five

In the beginning of fast five the camera shows a court room which shows the main character being sentenced however a transition is added and moves to an establishing shot of the moving bus in the dessert, in addition it allows the audience to hear fast and furious cars in the distance roaring in the dessert. This shows the audience that there is already a chase involved in the film opening,

The film also uses many effects in the opening to make the film more realistic to the audience. The film uses fuzzy effects and transitions to make the viewers more interested in the film. Making the audience ask question e.g. why is the film being fuzzy?

After the first two minutes of the opening the film cuts to another establishing show of Rio de Janeiro however this show pans over Rio de Janeiro like a camera in the sky which is like a bird’s eye shot.

In the film opening mise en scene is conveyed by making one of the main characters dress to show he has been arrested. The costume he wears is bright orange which signifies how the prisons in America work. This related to my genre Crime and action because is shows criminals being prosecuted
