Title Research

Before we made our film opening we researched different types of crime/action films and what type of titles and fonts they used. This was to give an idea of what kind of opening titles we should use in our opening. We did make a few mistakes in our first attempts by using plain credits which did not go along with our film genre, however we did more research into credits and found that the fonts that are genre related  such as prison uniforms, gave a more criminal effect.

Initially we thought we would have to have all of our names in the opening credits however after all the film research we did, we  realized that in most film openings the only names which appear in the credits are the main actors. Only at the end credits do all the other names show up such as the director, producer, editors, cameraman's, etc . We also made minor mistakes such as using times new roman font, which made it boring and dull.
